White space is your friend.

A good designer knows when to use white space to their advantage. When something is too cluttered, the viewer’s eye will bounce all over the place and the message will not be received (at least not in an effective way). Learn to accept white space as a VERY important design element.

PS. White space does not actually have to be white.
